Peerless Search has partnered with a privately held healthcare company that is looking for a Controller to help lead its next phase of growth. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance and works closely with other senior leaders within the organization.Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights to senior management.Present financial reports and analysis to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to establish financial goals and targets.Develop and maintain robust forecasting models to support short-term and long-term financial planning.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks.Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.Cash Management:Manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital.Implement effective treasury management strategies.Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor accounting team members, fostering a high-performance culture.Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and achieve organizational goals.Private Equity Relationship:Serve as a point of contact for private equity stakeholders, providing timely and accurate financial updates.Collaborate with the VP of Finance and CFO in preparing presentations and materials for investor meetings.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA requiredNetSuite experience requiredProven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role within the healthcare industry.Strong understanding of private equity-backed operations and reporting requirements.Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Benefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planProfessional development opportunitiesDynamic and collaborative work environmentPlease apply today for immediate consideration for this Controller opportunity.
