Peerless Search Partners is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting on behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing company in Cleveland. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and filing of all external financial reports, including SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and other regulatory disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and other applicable financial reporting standards.
• Oversee the consolidation of financial statements and provide accurate, timely reporting.
• Manage the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure proper internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Work cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operational teams to improve financial processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the financial reporting team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required).
• 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably with public company experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• Prior experience in a leadership role within corporate finance or public accounting (Big 4 experience preferred).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
