Peerless Search has partnered with an emerging real estate company that has exploded in growth and is looking for a strong Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This Senior Financial Analyst should be a self-starter with intellectual curiosity. A problem solver. Will report directly to the CFO and help standup the company’s FP&A function. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of real estate projects, including investment feasibility studies, financial modeling, and valuation assessments.
- Evaluate potential real estate investments, acquisitions, and development opportunities through detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast cash flows, project returns, and investment performance metrics.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and macroeconomic factors impacting real estate investments.
- Prepare and present financial reports, investment memos, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, strategic plans, and long-term financial forecasts.
- Identify areas for process improvement and optimization within the finance function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA designation preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis methodologies.
- Expertise in Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proven ability to communicate financial concepts and analysis effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
