Job Overview:

The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations. This key leadership position will be responsible for ensuring the fiscal health of the organization by providing strategic financial guidance, managing financial resources, and driving financial sustainability. As a member of the executive team, you will have a direct impact on our organization’s financial strategies and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and financial stability.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to establish budgetary guidelines and monitor performance against the budget.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders, summarizing key financial metrics, risks, and opportunities.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, making recommendations for investments, financing options, and capital allocation.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering professional growth and development.
• Mergers and Acquisitions: Collaborate with senior leadership in evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic financial initiatives.
• Contract Management: Manage and oversee financial aspects of contracts and partnerships, including negotiations and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a financial leader in the healthcare industry, with a strong track record of success in senior finance roles.
• Extensive knowledge of healthcare finance, including reimbursement methodologies, regulatory compliance, and third-party payer relations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make strategic financial decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, financial modeling, data analytics).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
